Joyful June to all of my lovely Lost Boys and Girls!
I hope that the start of eveyone's summer (or winter for my southern hemisphere folks) has been grande, filled with books, snacks, and lots of relaxation.
For my part it has been a whirlwind. Not only have I been keeping up with the marketing for "The Legacy of Villains", I've also been full steam ahead on something excited.
Something like the SEQUEL. (*Cue cheers*)
Originally, "Legacy" was penned as a standalone -- it had a different ending and all!
But over time it became very clear that there was more story to tell. Jolie and Peter may have found a happy ending...but we all know that doesn't last.
So today I'm excited to announce "THE RUIN OF STARLIGHT" -- the thrilling conclusion to this magical duology.

Searing, lancing pain gripped at her heart. She cried out but the wind stole even that sound, so she gaped wordlessly like a hooked fish as it pounded against her.
The rot.
Worming branches of something wrong something bad —
She tried to hold back a cough, black spittle against closed lips, until the feeling bubbled up too incessantly. She retched into her cupped palms.
What came out was tar. Sticky, viscous tar that wept into the cracks in her hand. She grimaced, trying to wipe it against her pant leg, but it clung fast. Like the blackened eye of a storm it peered up at her from between her own fingers.
And then it disappeared.
And so did she.
