Happy March dear bibliophiles!
Spring might finally be on the horizon here in Canada. I woke up the other day to blue skies, sunshine, and the sound of birds! Bit by bit the winter blues are disappearing.
One thing that's not "blues-worthy" but instead rather "news-worthy" is that "The Legacy of Villains" debuts in 17 days. Less than three weeks to go, and I am frantically doing my final edits on the manuscript to make it 100% perfect come release day. (I'll settle for 99.9% perfect too)
The last few weeks have been a flurry of activity on social media as "Legacy" has launched into a worldwide advanced copy book tour with Book of Matches Media. If you're new to the indie publishing game, what that means is that a big group of book reviewers signed up to receive ARCs (Advanced Reading Copies) of my book, and in return they "tour" it on their social media pages! It's been a lot of fun seeing the photos come in as they get their copies. The photoshop skills of those who make the e-books look like a paperback/hardback are amazing!
I highly recommend heading over to @JulietLockwood_Reads on Instagram, clicking on tagged photos, and taking a look at the wonderful bookstagram accounts who are participating.
Author Fun Fact of the Day:
While I've never been on a real pirate ship, I did visit one of the beach-y filming locations for Pirates of the Carribean 2! Yes, I absolutely talked liked Jack Sparrow the entire time.
